Alaska has been nice to me. The weather here has not been as bad as I expected. Even though it's been cloudy and gloomy, sunlight has managed to spear through the gloominess and gives me hope day after day. I still consider myself as a Seattlite at this moment, but I am slowly getting used to living Anchorage.
I have spent quite some time walking around the area I live the past few days. I took a couple of pictures, but there really isn't much to comment on because everywhere looks basically the same. What amazed me is that you can see big rivers on the middle of the city!! No wonder you can run into moose and wolves.
Anchorage has been treating me well. It's really not that bad, and I think I start to like it a little bit ... at least at this moment.
By the way, happy first day of fall and keep believing everybody :)
